Sa ne radem, azi iar US...
« on: Thursday 28 October 2010, 18:31:41 »
Deja erau alocate 9 miliarde.
http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5jhQ-Zi00JlVbdHPeGqOOVec5Xk4g?docId=CNG.157fdb21528f5668b3708d5dd4828a10.651

http://www.dailyfinance.com/story/company-news/buffett-takes-ride-on-the-bnsf-railroad-buys-burlington-norther/19220417/

America are nevoie de cai ferate catre interior.

US scoate cateva bulioane de la tax payers si le baga in sine noi, gari noi, infrastructura.

azi vine china: http://www.cnn.com/2010/BUSINESS/06/29/china.rent.white.people/index.html?iref=obnetwork

For a day, a weekend, a week, up to even a month or two, Chinese companies are willing to pay high prices for fair-faced foreigners to join them as fake employees or business partners.

Some call it "White Guy Window Dressing." To others, it's known as the "White Guy in a Tie" events, "The Token White Guy Gig," or, simply, a "Face Job."

And it is, essentially, all about the age-old Chinese concept of face. To have a few foreigners hanging around means a company has prestige, money and the increasingly crucial connections -- real or not -- to businesses abroad.

Anyway, comparatia intre Obama si Roosevelt nu-i face cinste lui FDR... ;)

uite China a lansat noul tren rapid

Iuhuu, galbejitii au luat-o rau pe aratura:

The "fastest" train commercial service:
The fastest train service measured by average trip speed is on the Wuhan-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway, where the CRH3/CRH2 coupled-train sets average 312.5 km/h (194.2 mph) on the 922 km (572.9 mi) route from Wuhan to Guangzhou North. It is the fastest commercial train service in the world.

Si nu numai la trinuri:

The fastest supercomputer:
The United States no longer owns the world's fastest supercomputer.
A computer called Tianhe-1A, unveiled on Wednesday at a conference in Beijing, China, can run calculations faster than the previous speed leader, a computer at a U.S. lab in Tennessee.

The new computer set a performance record by crunching 2.507 petaflops of data at once. The previous leader, a computer called Cray XT5 Jaguar and located at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, completed 1.75 petaflop calculations.
Analysts say the new record underscores China's place as a global tech leader.

+ In September 2010, it was announced that the country is planning to carry out explorations in deep space by sending a man to the Moon by 2025. China also hopes to bring a moon rock sample back to earth in 2017, and subsequently build an observatory on the Moon's surface. Ye Peijian, Commander in Chief of the Chang’e programme and an academic at the Chinese Academy of Sciences added that China has the "full capacity to accomplish Mars exploration by 2013."
